Raspberry Pi: change password - how it works
The Raspberry Pi is often delivered with a standard user name and password. We show you in our practical tip how you can change this.
Change Raspberry Pi password
In order to change the password on your Raspberry Pi, you have to do the following steps:
- Open a terminal on your Raspberry Pi.
- Enter the command "passwd" here.
- Then you must first enter your old password. You can then set a new password, which you then have to repeat again.
- As is customary with Linux, the password is not displayed to you during the entry.
