Take a screenshot for the Redmi Note 5
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is an affordable smartphone with an Android operating system. Here's how to take a screenshot:
- First open the content on the Redmi Note 5 that you want to save as a screenshot.
- To save the current screen content, hold down the [Power] button and the [Volume down] button simultaneously for several seconds.
- Do not release the buttons until you see a confirmation on the screen or an acoustic signal sounds.
- Alternatively: Swipe the status bar down and tap the screenshot icon. You can now save the screen content via "Screen with scissors".
Redmi Note 5: Take a screenshot with just 3 fingers
In the settings, you can use the "Advanced Settings"> "Screenshot" to select that you can take a screenshot with three fingers.
- If the option is activated, first open the content on the screen that you want to save.
- Swipe down from the center of the screen with your index finger, middle finger, and ring finger at the same time.
- This movement triggers a screenshot and the current screen content is saved in the "Screenshots" folder in the gallery.
- To share the screenshot, go to the gallery and tap the "Share" icon. Then select the app in which you want to share the screenshot - for example WhatsApp.
