If you are traveling during your pregnancy, a travel pharmacy should not be missing. We'll show you which medications should be at hand.
First aid kit: you should have this with you during pregnancy
The following medicines are part of the basic equipment of a first-aid kit:
- As a pregnant woman, you provide your body with a unit of magnesium every day even when you are traveling. Take a sufficient amount in tablet or powder form with you.
- Folic acid is also important. The tablets are also rich in iodine, vitamins B12 and D3 and promote the healthy development of your child.
- Anti-nausea medications should also end up in your first aid kit. We recommend mint oil and Vomex A coated tablets.
- Paracetamol for pain or fever is controversial. Therefore, ask your doctor about his opinion in your individual pregnancy.
- Thrombosis stockings can also be helpful to you, as it can be annoying on the way to your destination and sometimes painful water retention in your legs.
- In the event of a cold, fill your first aid kit with nasal spray, eye drops and cough drops.
- Circulatory problems are also part of the everyday complaints of a pregnant woman: It is therefore important to have glucose on hand.
- See your doctor before you travel and discuss in detail which medicines you can and should have available.
