The inventory in Resident Evil 7 always seems to be full. How you can protect yourself against this, read below:

The first decision begins with the level of difficulty. Do not select "Madhouse" directly, because the setting cannot be changed later.
If you have chemicals - i.e. combinable objects - in your inventory, you should combine them to make room for other objects in your inventory. In this way you can use herbs and other chemicals to make other medicines.
In general, many items in the inventory can be superimposed. Three first aid medicines fit into one slot. You should also always bundle ammunition so that no inventory slot for three pistol bullets is occupied.
In contrast to the previous parts, the knife in Resident Evil 7 makes more sense and you shouldn't put it down immediately. At the beginning you only have one pistol and the knife. You can then use the knife well to open boxes, for example.
Don't put many weapons in the inventory, even if it's tempting to own them all. Two different weapons are perfectly sufficient.
Useful items are hidden in every corner - so explore every room. You should therefore not enter a new area with a full inventory.
Empty your inventory regularly, storing keys and story objects, as you rarely need them.

The most common opponents in Resident Evil 7 are the Molded. They are prone to headshots. So always aim well here.
Jack Baker is constantly sneaking around in the main house. You cannot kill him, instead he will only be unable to move briefly under fire. So don't waste your ammunition on him, but hide and avoid him.
A good alternative to open combat in Resident Evil 7 is bypassing your enemies. Once you have internalized the paths, you can often run around enemies. This is particularly useful on return trips.
When you are on the run, go to a storage room. The enemies have no access here, so you are safe for now.
Because reloading takes a relatively long time, you should always refill the weapon magazine after a fight. Unfavorable reloading in combat is often the death sentence.
Sometimes the opponents stand in front of you faster and take a swing than you can avoid. You can at least reduce the inevitable damage by blocking the attack with L1 / LB.
If you would rather repeat a fight because, for example, you have taken too much damage, you can simply restart the game. The game creates a lot of automatic saves.
