Top up Revolut Account: This is how the money gets into your account
There are two ways to top up the Revolut account, either by bank transfer or by credit card. In this article we will show you how it works.
Top up Revolut account by bank transfer
In order for you to successfully top up your Revolut account, you must ensure that you always transfer the money in the currency of your account. The following points are also important:
- You can transfer money to your account using a SEPA direct debit or a SWIFT payment.
- Now you only need the IBAN of your account. The BIC is always "REVOGB21". So you can transfer your money like normal banks.
- If you want to transfer money from another currency, write your eight-digit reference number in the purpose of the transfer.
Top up Revolut Account by credit card
Here are a few steps to learn how to top up your account by credit card:
- Open the app on your phone and click on "Add money".
- Enter the credit card details, such as the 16-digit card number, the expiration date, the CVC code and the zip code of the billing address.
- Then enter the amount you want to top up your account. If everything went well, you will immediately see the top-up in your wallet.
