At E3 2017, Psyonix developers announced their Rocket League game for the Nintendo Switch. You can find out when the release will be and what else you need to know in this practical tip.
Rocket League for Nintendo Switch: when is the release?
- The Psyonix company also briefly spoke in Nintendo's Spotlight Stream at E3. As expected, the release of Rocket League for the Nintendo Switch has now been confirmed.
- To kick-start Nintendo Switch's Christmas season, Rocket League will be released for the Nintendo console later this year. An exact date has not been revealed, but it should be ready in autumn.
Rocket League: What will be different on the Nintendo Switch?
- Rocket League is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as for PC and Mac. Cross-play via Nintendo Switch will only be possible with Xbox One, PC and Mac. You cannot compete against players on PS4.
- The Nintendo Switch is said to have some exclusive battle cars and customization options such as Mario and Luigi Hat-Topper. You can compete against up to 8 players online and offline.
- Rocket League runs in all game modes on the Nintendo Switch. TV, handheld and tabletop modes are supported.
