There is a ranking system in Rocket League. We explain to you how the system works and you can continue to rise in the ranking.
This is how the ranking in Rocket League works
There are two types of playlists in Rocket League: In normal playlists, you can play without collecting or losing points. However, if you select one of the three playlists under Rank, you can collect points for the ranked lists. You can recognize the ranked games by the golden ball with which they are marked.
- You can fight the ranked games in three different modes. Single duel (1 vs. 1), double (2 vs. 2) and single standard (3 vs. 3).
- Note that each mode has its own leaderboard. If you win points in one of the modes, you can only move up in the corresponding ranking. So if you play a double, you will only be able to climb the double ranking.
- The points you get in the ranked matches are calculated solely by the strength ratio of the teams participating.
- If your opponent's rank is significantly higher and you can still win the match, you will receive a high score accordingly.
- However, if your opponent's rank is significantly lower and you lose the match, many points will be deducted accordingly.
- In balanced matches, you can only win a few points, but you can only lose a few.
- You can access and view the ranking lists at any time in the main menu under the Tools option.
