Rocket League Rumble - the best tips
The new rumble mode in Rocket League promises one thing above all: a lot of chaos. In this practical tip, we explain how you can master the chaos and thus have better chances of winning in the mode.
Rocket League - the best items in rumble mode
Some items are very helpful, others can harm you. We give you tips.
- Spikes: Undisputedly the spikes are the most effective item in the game mode. Save the power-up until you can catch the ball safely on the roof. Then try to fly into the goal to avoid being caught by the opponent.
- Pömpel: Use the Pömpel specifically to bring the ball into the goal. When the ball is flying towards the opposing goal, you can drive into the goal while activating the bouncer. With a little luck, the ball will automatically follow you into the goal.
- Magnet: The magnet is very effective, but more difficult to use. Adjust the speed of your car to the ball and try to dribble into the goal. Since the magnet has a weak attraction, you need to get very close to the ball.
- Hook and boxing glove: If you can fly very well, you should take off in the air until you are above the ball. As soon as you release the hook or glove, hit the ball in the opposite direction. Hitting the goal is not easy, but with practice you can score unbearable counter goals.
Rocket League - You should use these items immediately in "Rumble"
Some items offer no special added value for your game, so you should use them directly.
- Power-ups such as the tornado, the auto exchange or the opponent boost should be used immediately. The power-ups are not fundamentally bad, but you can do a lot more with better items.
- Borderline cases are both the boot and the explosion power-up. You should not save this too long, but use these items as sensibly as possible. A kick with the shoe or a destroyed opponent can lead to a very helpful overpower situation.
- The freeze feature can rarely give you a great advantage in your attack. However, if you do get this power-up in defense, use it wisely to prevent goals in front of the line.
