Subscribe to RSS feeds in Thunderbird
After you have created the feeds account, subscribe to interesting RSS feeds:
- To do this, first click on the account and then on the right side "Manage subscriptions" under "Feeds".
- In the "Feeds Subscriptions" menu, you then collect the feeds.
- To do this, go to the corresponding website and click on the orange feeds icon. You will then be redirected to the feeds page. Copy the URL of this page into the "Feed URL" field in Thunderbird. The "Title" field will later be automatically assigned the corresponding page name.
- Finally click on "Add" and you have already subscribed to the RSS feed.
- Tip: If you only want to see a summary of the respective article and not the entire website, activate the "Show article summary instead of the website" option.
If you get quite a few feeds every day, it may be very helpful to combine several RSS feeds.
