RSS feeds - what is it?
Numerous news portals offer RSS feeds. But what is that anyway? We give you a short overview with all important information.
What are RSS feeds?
- The RSS feed ("Really Simple Syndication") is a news subscription that informs you about new articles and reports:
- The source is an XML file such as "//www.chip.de/rss/rss_downloads.xml", which you can open in the browser or, for example, with the feed reader "Sage" and then subscribe to.
- As soon as a new article is published, you will be informed and forwarded to the website with a click.
By the way, you can find the latest news from CHIP Online in these RSS feeds. You can also access your subscriptions with Outlook. You can find more information here.
