Prepaid card: This is how call number transport works
- You can terminate your previous mobile service provider by sending them a so-called waiver. You can get this directly from the provider.
- Since porting costs are usually raised - usually the amount is 25 euros - you should ensure that your prepaid card has the appropriate credit. However, many mobile phone providers issue a credit of 25 euros for a new contract with number portability. Therefore, you will not normally be left at that cost.
- Tell your new cell phone provider that you want to take a number with you when ordering or registering your new SIM card.
