Call number transfer to savings cell phones - how it works
Sparhandy works with different mobile operators, so you can choose between different networks. Depending on the tariff selected, the procedure for taking number with you changes a little:
- For all tariffs, the information provided by the new provider must be identical to that which you have deposited with your previous mobile operator. This applies in particular to your name and date of birth.
- You have to cancel with your previous mobile operator yourself, Sparmobil only takes care of the call number transfer. The procedure differs depending on whether you have selected a tariff in the E network or a tariff in the D network.
- You have to download a porting application for the number portability with Eplus as well as with the number portability with O2. After you have filled it in and signed it, send it either by post or by fax to the address or fax number given on the respective form.
- If you opt for a tariff in the D network at Sparhandy, applying for porting is much easier. As soon as you have decided on a tariff, you can conveniently apply for the number portability on the online order form.
- Depending on the tariff you choose, you will receive a bonus for taking your number with you. However, since you will likely have to pay a porting fee of approximately the same amount from your current provider, you will end up getting around zero.
- If you have not signed a contract with your previous mobile operator, but are using a prepaid card, you have to arrange the number transfer yourself. In this case you need a so-called waiver, for which you can use the Sparhandy termination assistant. Otherwise you will also find the corresponding form on the homepage of your current provider.
