Erase RW CD / DVD - so it works
Similar to a USB stick, you can delete the contents of an RW CD / DVD and then upload new files. Unpleasant music CDs can also be reused in this way and do not have to find their way into the residual waste.
Erase the contents of RW CDs / DVDs
- Insert the RW CD / DVD into your drive.
- Click on "Start" and then on "Computer".
- Use the mouse to select the drive in which the RW CD / DVD is located.
- Click the "Erase Disk" option at the top of the bar. The wizard for deleting the medium opens.
- As soon as you click the "Next" button, the content of the data carrier is deleted and you can then rewrite it.
