Descale Saeco Picobaristo - Here's how
Caring for your Saeco Picobaristo coffee machine also includes regular descaling. In this practical tip, we will show you how to proceed with this model.
Descale Saeco Picobaristo - that's how it works
As soon as the Saeco Picobaristo needs to be descaled, the coffee machine shows this.
- As soon as the descaling program is requested, you can start it by pressing the "OK" button. The further steps are shown on the display. You must confirm each of the individual steps with the "OK" button.
- First you should remove the Saeco Aqua Clean water filter from the water tank.
- Remove the drip tray and empty the coffee grounds container. Fill the milk container halfway with fresh water.
- Place a container, for example a saucepan, under the coffee spout. It is important that the container holds at least one and a half liters.
- Next, add the descaling solution to the water tank and fill up with water. However, only up to the "CalcClean" mark.
- If you also confirm this step with "OK", the descaling program is started. This takes about 20 minutes.
- This is followed by a rinsing process. To do this, rinse both the milk container and the water tank thoroughly and fill both with fresh water again. Fill the water tank up to the "CalcClean" mark again, the milk container only up to the minimum mark.
- Confirm again with the "OK" button and open the outlet for the milk foam. Empty the container under the coffee spout and start the rinsing process again with the "OK" button.
- The rinsing takes about 3 minutes. Then your Saeco Picobaristo is ready for use again and you can prepare fresh coffee.
