Vent Saeco Picobaristo: How it works
In addition to the pressure loss, you can also recognize the error by the fact that less or no water flows anymore. As a result, coffee preparation takes longer or is not possible at all. Fortunately, Saeco's Picobaristo range is one of the more modern machines with precise error messages. So if your coffee machine shows the message "Vent", it is best to follow the steps below.
- Before you start, fill the water tank with sufficient water and place an empty container under the coffee dispenser.
- Switch off the machine and press the hot water button, on older models set the rotary button to "hot water".
- Now hot air flows through the hoses until the pressure vessel is vented.
- Then switch on the device again and press the hot water function again, hot water comes out after a few seconds, everything worked.
- If the fix doesn't work the first time, try again. The procedure often has to be repeated several times.
