Safari: change view - how it works
You can easily change the view in Safari to suit your needs. This practical tip shows you which options you have and how to do it.
Customize the Safari view to your needs
All settings for viewing the Apple browser can be found in the menu item "View". Here you have the following options:
- If you are bothered by the toolbar at the top, you can hide it using the "Display" menu.
- Clicking on "Customize toolbar" opens a dialog window. From here you can drag and drop controls onto the toolbar. With frequently used functions, operation via the symbols saves a lot of time.
- You can also use this menu item to show or hide both your bookmark list and the reading list.
- If you have opened several tabs, the table bar can also be hidden. This way, not everyone can see which pages you have opened as you walk past.
- If you need the status bar, you can activate it here.
- With the menu item "View" you can also enlarge or reduce the view of the browser pages. You can either zoom the entire page or just the text.
