Safari: Open multiple tabs at the same time
In Safari, you cannot use the settings to specify that several tabs should be opened at the same time. If you know this option from Chrome or Firefox, you don't have to do without it in the Apple browser either. We show you how it works.
Open multiple tabs in Safari at the same time - so it'll work
With a little trick you can extend Safari by the function of opening your favorite pages in several tabs at the same time.
- Start Safari and open the sidebar. To do this, either click on the small book symbol under the back button, or go to "Show sidebar" in the menu under "View".
- Activate the bookmarks.
- In the lower left corner of the page list you will see a small plus sign. This creates a new folder that you can call "Start", for example.
- Now fill the folder with the websites that you would like to open in several tabs at once.
- Open the context menu of the folder by clicking with the right mouse button. With "Open in tabs" you can now open all important websites in parallel.
- This is not as convenient as the function in Chrome or Firefox, but faster than starting the individual tabs manually.
