Safari tabs close with one touch: Instructions for iPhone / iPad
Closing all Safari tabs at once - that's not so easy on iPhone. While a key combination is sufficient on the Mac, the feature is somewhat hidden on the iPhone / iPad. We'll show you how to quickly and easily close tabs in Safari with one hand.
All Safari tabs close on iPhone and iPad
With iOS 10, Apple has added a new feature to its Safari mobile browser. You can now close all tabs at once:
- Open Safari and switch to tab view at the bottom right.
- Now hold your finger down on the button "Done" on the bottom right.
- Now a menu appears with two options.
- Here tap on the option "Close all tabs".
- Then all open tabs are closed.
Note that this guide only works from iOS 10. This is not possible with earlier versions - you will have to close all tabs manually. If you have not yet installed iOS 10, you can update most iPads and iPhones.
