Samplitude: remove noise - how it works

With Samplitude you professionally remove the noise from your recording. The speech quality is usually better preserved than, for example, with the freeware Audacity. In our instructions we show you the individual steps.
Remove noise with Magix Samplitude
- Open the audio file in Magix Samplitude.
- Then highlight a short section of the track where only the noise is heard. You will often find these places at the beginning and end of the recording.
- Then right-click on the track and create a noise test in the context menu with "Effects (destructive)"> "Get Noise Sample". Now click in an empty area of the project to remove the selection.
- Then select "Effects (destructive)" again, but then "Denoiser" (see picture).
- In the "Noise Reduction" window, you first have to call up your noise test under "Noise Sample". It is named after the name of the track. Then you can remove the noise with the filters on the right.
Note: Please note that the "Mix" dampens the volume of your track. You then have to increase this yourself.
A little easier, but unfortunately at the expense of voice quality, you can also remove annoying noise with Audacity. In the Audacity tutorial, we present four other tricks for audio editing.
