Samsung AllShare: a quick guide
In this guide, you will learn how to use the free Samsung AllShare program to exchange data between your Samsung devices. This works with any Windows computer, TV, smartphone and camera from the Samsung brand.
Prepare devices to use Samsung AllShare
- Download Samsung AllShare and install the program.
- Start the program and your Samsung device. It is necessary that both devices are connected to the Internet via LAN or WLAN in the same network.
- A wizard will now start to connect to the Samsung device. Always click on "Next" until you have reached point 4. Here you will find the available device in the list. Select this and click on the "Connect" button and then on "Finish".
- Your computer will now be searched for available music, video and image files. This process can take some time. Once this has been completed, the program can be used in full.
Exchange data between the computer and Samsung device
On the left side you will now see the folders "Music", "Pictures" and "Videos" in the menu bar. These contain all of your multimedia files that are located in the Windows folders of the same name. If you want to access other folders on your computer, click on the little plus in the top left.
- Open one of the three folders and select a desired file with a double click.
- A file preview opens in a new window. Click on the button with the arrow and the TV at the bottom right of the window (see picture). There, select the connected Samsung device.
- The transmission is now sent to the selected device. There it must be confirmed that the transfer should be allowed. You can share any multimedia content between your devices.

Another interesting function is the playlist. You can find this at the bottom left of the menu.
- To do this, first click on the orange-colored link "Add new playlist". Then give it a name.
- Now you can search for music, picture or video files. If you want to add it to the playlist, right-click on it.
- Then go back to the playlist and click on the "Play with another device" button at the bottom right to start transferring the list.
