Samsung: delete Autobackup - how it works
In Samsung, photos and videos are automatically saved as an auto backup. If you want to delete them, you can do this in a small detour. Find out how to do this in this practical tip.
Autobackup under Samsung: How to delete it
Just follow the instructions below to delete the autobackup:
- Open the Google Photos app on your Samsung smartphone.
- Tap the app icon in the top left and choose Photos.
- To start the search, tap the magnifying glass icon at the top and enter "#AutoBackup" in the search field. Start the search with a tap on the magnifying glass.
- You will then see all the photos that were automatically saved in the so-called autobackup.
- Mark all the pictures you want to delete by tapping and holding them until they are marked. The selected photos are deleted with a tap on the trash can icon.
