Samsung TV: set audio delay - how it works
If the sound of your Samsung TV output via SPDIF runs asynchronously to the picture, you can set an audio delay. All you have to do is adjust a menu entry according to your delay.
Sync SPDIF output
- Many users find that the sound output from their flat screen sounds too thin. You can therefore output the sound of your TV with the optical SPDIF interface.
- It can happen that image and sound are no longer output synchronously, because the processing times differ greatly.
- Since audio processing is faster, you always have to set a delay in milliseconds.
- The setting can be found under: Menu -> Sound -> Additional settings -> SPDIF output -> Audio delay (see photo).
- Simply run a film or television program and increase the delay until the picture and sound run in sync again. Confirm with the OK button.
