Samsung TV: use CI + module - so it'll work
If you have received a CI + module and the associated smart card from your TV provider, you can insert it into your Samsung TV. With our instructions, it works in a few seconds.
Insert CI + module in Samsung TV
- The smart card is first introduced into the CI + module. You will often find an arrow both on the card and on the module, which indicates the correct arrangement.
- If you have problems with the insertion, you can usually use the labeling of the two parts as a guide. The chip on the card, for example, belongs in the rear end of the module.
- If you stand in front of the television, the CI + module is inserted on the right side. Turn the module so that the label is facing you and is upside down. The opening of the module points to the right away from the television.
- Plug the CI + module into the Samsung TV. At a certain point, you need some force for the module to find its right place. As a rule, only about half of the module disappears on the television.
- If you then switch on the device, you can start the station search and start up the smart card in the CI + module.
