Samsung Galaxy J5: Take a screenshot - Here's how
If you want to save the screen content on your Samsung Galaxy J5, you can take a screenshot. We'll tell you how this works in this practical tip.
Very classic: take a screenshot on the Galaxy J5 with a key combination
The fastest way to take a screenshot is by using a keyboard shortcut that works on all Samsung devices:
- Press and hold the power button and the home button simultaneously for about two seconds.
- If the frame of your device lights up briefly and you hear a click, the screenshot was successfully taken.
- You will then find the image in your "Gallery" folder in the "Screenshots" folder.
Elegant: Take a screenshot on the Galaxy J5 with a swipe gesture
With the Samsung Galaxy J5, you can also record the screen with a swipe gesture. However, some settings are necessary for this:
- Open the Settings app and there under "Movements and gestures" tap the entry "Record by swiping".
- Activate the function of the same name using the slider and close the settings.
- If you now wipe the edge of the hand across the entire screen, a screenshot will be created automatically. The direction doesn't matter.
