You can easily take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S10 using a keyboard shortcut. You can also use the integrated voice control or a swipe gesture. We show you how these three variants work.
Take a screenshot with the Samsung Galaxy S10
The most common way to take a screenshot on your smartphone is by using the key combination. Here's how it works on Samsung's Galaxy S10:
- Press and hold the [Power] and [Volume down] buttons for about two seconds.
- As soon as the screenshot is created, you will see a corresponding animation on the display. There is also a short beep.
- The screenshot is then stored in the picture gallery.
Galaxy S10: Take a screenshot with Bixby or with a swipe gesture
- If you have set up the in-house voice control Bixby on your Samsung smartphone, you can easily take a screenshot with a voice command. Say "Hey Bixby, take a screenshot".
- You can also take a screenshot with the appropriate swipe gesture. To do this, place the edge of your hand on the center of the screen and swipe to the right or left. You must activate the function at the beginning in the settings under "Extended functions"> "Screenshot".
