- The display of the Samsung Galaxy S6 measures 5.1 inches like its predecessor, but now has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD). The One M9 is a bit behind with Full HD resolution on a 5-inch screen. The pixel density is also lower.
- An octa-core processor with a 64-bit architecture is installed in both devices. Samsung relies on the Exynos 7430, while HTC uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.

- The built-in battery in the Galaxy S6 has a capacity of 2550 mAh. The HTC has 2840 mAh. So the runtime of HTC One should be a little better.

- MSRP: The price of the Galaxy S6 will be 699, 799 or 899 euros depending on the memory size. The One M9 is initially available for 749 euros.

- HTC One M9: The unique selling point here is above all the high-quality stereo speakers and the three built-in microphones. Fans of good acoustics will get their money's worth with the new HTC smartphone.
- Conclusion: The two devices from Samsung and HTC are technically absolutely at eye level and offer immense performance - we cannot find a real winner here yet. The most important differences are on the display and in the internal memory, which can be expanded in HTC and is completely fixed at Samsung. If you want to opt for one of the two devices, it is best to test them in the store and assess for yourself which smartphone suits you more.
