Samsung Galaxy S7: force shutdown - how it works
You can force the Samsung Galaxy S7 to switch off. This is useful, for example, if the Galaxy S7 has hung up and is no longer responding. Here we show you in detail how to do this.
Force shutdown: Samsung Galaxy 7
- If Android or the memory is overloaded, the Samsung Galaxy S7 can freeze quickly. A classic restart is usually not possible, you have to force it.
- With the predecessors such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, S4 or S5, the owners could simply remove the battery. Since the Samsung Galaxy S6, however, this has not been so easy.
- Instead, a simple key combination will help you. Hold down the [Power] key on the right and the [Leister] key on the left. Keep both buttons pressed until a change appears on the screen. Then the Galaxy S7 restarts.
