Use Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge as a WiFi repeater
With just a few simple steps, you have transformed your Samsung smartphone into a WiFi repeater:
- First connect to a WiFi network as normal before continuing.
- Then open the "Settings" of the smartphone and select "Mobile Hotspot and Tethering".
- Finally, tap on "Mobile Hotspot" and move the slider. Then set the checkmark for "Enable WLAN".
- You can then set the name and password of the WiFi hotspot.
- A maximum of 10 devices can now connect to your repeater.
- To deactivate the sharing, you can either switch off the WLAN or select the "Deactivate sharing" option in the "Mobile Hotspot" menu.
