Samsung Galaxy S7 and Co: Warning camera error - you can do that
On the Samsung Galaxy S7, the S5 mini and other smartphones, the warning of a supposed camera error is displayed more often. We'll show you how to solve the problem.
Samsung Galaxy S7: Fix camera error warning
- First switch your smartphone off and on again. Simply hold the power button on the side. In most cases, the camera error should no longer occur.
- If the problem persists, simply reset the camera app. You will find the appropriate instructions in the next paragraph.
- If that doesn't help, you can switch to an alternative camera app for Android. However, this does not resolve the original problem.
- If you call the code * # 0 * # in the phone app, the service menu opens. If you select the "Mega Cam" option you should see the image from the camera. If this is not the case, the camera is definitely defective.
- If the camera works in the service menu, but not in the app, the last option is an Android reset. Since all data and settings are lost, you should carry out an Android backup beforehand.
Warning camera error: Reset camera app on the Galaxy S7
