Reset Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 - Here's how
If your Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has problems or you want to sell the tablet, you should reset it. In this way, all settings and data are deleted and the factory settings are restored.
Reset and restore Samsung Galaxy Tab S2
You can reset the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 directly to the delivery state via the settings. You do not need a computer for this.
- To do this, start your Tab S2 and open the Settings app.
- In the left column, tap on the "Backup and reset" entry.
- Scroll down a bit and select the option "Reset to factory settings" (see picture).
- Acknowledge the warning and wait for the process to complete. The tablet restarts a few times.
- Tip: If you want to keep your data but reset the configuration, select the "Reset settings" entry in the third step. If you have problems with WLAN or LTE, select "Reset network settings".
