Samsung Push Service: How it works and how to uninstall it
The "Samsung Push Service" service is preinstalled on every Samsung smartphone and can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Play Store. We'll tell you what's behind the service and how to get rid of it.
Samsung Push Service - do I need the service?
- The Samsung Push Service manages the notifications of the Samsung apps. These include "ChatON" and "AllsharePlay".
- If you use one of the Samsung apps, the Samsung Push Service ensures that you receive messages from these apps. These are then displayed in a pop-up window and in the notification bar.
- However, the service is not really useful. Especially if you belong to the majority of users who do not use the Samsung apps at all, you can confidently say goodbye to the Samsung Push Service.
Deactivate Samsung Push Service - Here's how
- First open the "Settings" app on your Samsung smartphone.
- Under the category "General" or "My Account" you will now find the "Application Manager".
- Go to the "Installed Apps" area above and select the "Samsung Push Service".
- Tap the "Uninstall updates" button and then "Deactivate".
- The Samsung Push Service is now switched off. You can reactivate it at any time if you wish.
