The radio remote control of your Samsung TV has lost the connection to the TV? To re-establish this connection, you have to "pair" the device and the remote control. We'll show you how to do it.
Samsung remote control does not work: is it due to the batteries?
Before you pair the remote control with the Samsung TV again, you should make sure that the batteries in the remote control are not empty. How to change the batteries:
- Take your remote control at hand. Remove the back by sliding it down.
- Replace the two batteries with new ones.
- Click the back of the remote control again and test if the problem is resolved. If not, do the following after changing the battery.

- To do this, first switch off the TV set using the power switch and hold the remote control close to the TV.
- Now use a pointed object on the Samsung remote control to press the recessed button marked "Pairing".
- Then immediately press the power button on the front of the TV. The device now turns on and pairing is performed automatically.
- If the TV is running, check that the remote control works again. If it didn't work, press the reset button on the remote control. Now perform the pairing again as described above.

- To do this, press and hold the [Volume down] button on the TV for about ten seconds.
- The TV then sends a remote control search signal. You now have about half a minute to search for the beeping remote control.
- To stop the alarm sound, simply press any button on the remote control.
