Samsung Upday: What can the app do?

• Samsung Upday is an integral part of some Samsung smartphones. The app is pre-installed and cannot be easily removed.
• It is the Samsung news portal. According to Upday, messages from trustworthy news sites of all major publishing houses (including CHIP) and independent bloggers end up in the app.
• If you hold your finger on an empty area on the start screen, you can activate Samsung Upday. This gives you an insight into the latest news directly from the home screen. You can also deactivate Upday in the same way.
