Sat receiver: start the channel search - how it works
With this practical tip, we will show you how to start a channel search on your satellite receiver.
How to perform a channel search on your satellite receiver
If you carry out a channel search on your satellite receiver, you will often find new channels that you can now watch on your TV. However, you should know that each satellite receiver has a slightly different channel search. Some names may therefore be different for your receiver. These instructions are general. For details, you should look at the operating instructions of your satellite receiver.
- Call up the menu of your satellite receiver using the corresponding button, often this is simply the "MENU" button.
- Select the item "Installation" or a similar area in the menu.
- Confirm the selection with "Ok" to open the item.
- In the lower area you will find different options. On the one hand you can change the position of the stations and on the other hand you can start a station search by clicking on "Search" or similar.
- Note the color next to the "Search" item and press this button on your remote control. This starts the station search.
