Saturn: Payment by installments - conditions and further information
In this practical tip, we explain the conditions for paying in installments at Saturn. Whether you can use the installment payment depends on the purchase price of the product and your credit rating.
Installment payments at Saturn - you should know:
You can use Saturn's installment payment in a Saturn store or in the online shop.
- Payment in installments is 0% financing, so there are no additional costs for you. The payment does not go directly through the dealer, but through the Commerz-Finanzbank.
- In order to be able to use the installment payment, you have to meet a few requirements. Which exactly, read in the second section.
- If you meet the requirements, you must sign the financing contract when purchasing and possibly provide documents that confirm your creditworthiness.
- However, you do not use the so-called CashCard or OnlineCard from Commerz-Finanzbank for the financing contract. This card has a high interest rate of 9.47% (for loans up to EUR 1, 000) or 14.84% (for loans over EUR 1, 000).
- You should also have your identity card with you when purchasing. As soon as the financing application has been approved by the bank, the goods are dispatched.
Requirements for the Saturn installment payment
The following requirements are required:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Schoolchildren, students and housewives are only allowed to pay off goods worth EUR 1, 500 in installments.
- For self-employed and freelancers, the maximum funding is 5, 000 euros. In addition, independence must have existed for at least 12 months.
- If you want to buy products with a value of over 1, 500 euros in installments, you need a salary of at least 650 euros per month. You have to provide salary statements to the Saturn market for this.
- You can buy a maximum of € 8, 000 worth of goods in installments. The term is limited to a maximum of 33 monthly installments.
