Nuance's PaperPort software allows you to scan documents with various settings. In this guide you can read how to scan with the program.
Scan with Nuance PaperPort
The program is often included with devices such as the Brotherhood multifunction device MFC-J4510DW. You can also buy PaperPort separately or download a trial version. Open Nuance PaperPort and click the "Desktop" tab.
- Under "Functional Area" click on "Scan Settings",
- You can now make various settings in the left display.
- Under "Select" you search for the device from your network.
- Select your desired profile below. Here you will find, for example, "Color Document" or "Searchable PDF Color Document".
- Then click on "Settings" and, if necessary, increase the resolution and brightness in the "Scan" tab. At this point you can also activate the black and white mode.
- Save the changes with "OK".
- Start the scan via "Scan" on the left below the display.
