Scanner doesn't work - you can do that
- A USB hub may be preventing communication between the scanner and the PC. Therefore, connect the scanner directly to the computer via USB.
- A driver is often out of date. Check in "Control Panel"> "Device Manager" whether the driver for your scanner is available and up-to-date.
- Make sure the scanner is turned on correctly before you start scanning.
- There may also be a defect in the connection cable. Exchange this for testing.
- Make sure that your scanner or the associated software is not blocked by an antivirus system or firewall.
- If the scanner issues an error message, you should refer to the manual to see if there is a solution.
- If your scanner is connected to the computer via WLAN, make sure that the device is not too far away from the computer so that the WLAN connection is not interrupted or even interrupted.
- Open the "Windows Photo Gallery" and click "File"> "Import from camera or scanner" at the top. If your scanner is listed here, you can try a scan like this.
- If not, then reinstalling the driver will probably only help. Therefore, uninstall it in "Device Manager" and then try again.
- Make sure, however, that you have installed the appropriate driver for your operating system. If there is no driver for your system, contact the manufacturer.
