Scart to HDMI: Only with converter
- Unfortunately, a simple cable is not enough for Scart to HDMI. Since the signal types work completely differently, additional hardware is required to convert the signal.
- You can get the LIGAWO Scart to HDMI converter on Amazon for around 45 euros. This receives the Scart signal, converts it and then sends it again via the HDMI output.
- The image is scaled up to 720p or 1080p depending on the TV. This means that the image quality sent by the Scart connection is only processed, but still does not reach an HD standard.
