This is how you can color chocolate
The best way to color chocolate is white chocolate, because it is light and can absorb other colors well. So you need: white chocolate (quantity as you like), food coloring, a saucepan, a water bath bowl and a spatula to stir.
- Place the pot on the stove with a little hot water. Bring the water to a boil.
- Place the water bath bowl on the pot of hot water.
- Pour the desired amount of chocolate into the water bath. Melt the chocolate. Make sure that no water gets into the bowl of chocolate, otherwise it will start to clot.
- Stir the chocolate well when melting, as it can burn quickly.
- Add one or two drops of food coloring of your choice. Mix everything well. Depending on the desired intensity, add further color.
- Use the chocolate as a coating on a cake or muffin, keep it warm until you apply the chocolate.
