Typewriter course as freeware: learn to type for free
You don't need to book an expensive VHS course to learn to type - there are good typewriter courses available for download for free on the PC. We'll show you the best of them.
Tipp10 is the top typewriter course
Tipp10 is one of the most popular tip trainers. In addition to the desktop version, there is also an online version on the manufacturer's website. However, you can only enjoy the full range of functions with the offline version (download here for free):
- On the start screen of the tip freeware, you can select one of the 20 standard exercises on the left. You can also type dictations.
- You can access the extensive statistics area via the "Go To" menu.
- In the settings on the right, you can configure the response to typing errors - for example, to set up an acoustic signal that sounds when you make a mistake. The "Intelligence" setting, which automatically adjusts the dictation based on your error rates, is also helpful.
