Request Schufa information free of charge - how it works
The Schufa information is free of charge for you once a year. In this article we explain how you can request this self-disclosure and what there is to consider.
How to find Schufa's free application form
You can request information free of charge on the homepage meineschufa.de. At first glance, you will only see the fee-based queries.
- Navigate to the "Information" menu item on the Schufa homepage.
- A page opens on which you can scroll down to the bottom, past all paid offers.
- There you will find the item "Data copy (according to Art. 15 GDPR)".
- Click on the "More info and order" link.
- On this page you will be presented with two offers: a fee-based information and to the right the free data copy.
- Click on "Order now" under the free offer.
- Now you can request the self-disclosure directly online.
- By the way: On some dubious websites you will still find application forms for the Schufa self-disclosure for downloading. You should stay away from this!
- Tip: You can also follow the steps up to the form in our picture gallery.
