SCHUFA entries are collected by Schufa Holding AG based in Wiesbaden. Formulated, SCHUFA means "protection association for general credit protection". The company collects and stores all information from consumers that indicates their creditworthiness. If you conclude a contract with a company as a customer, this company can check your creditworthiness or creditworthiness with SCHUFA.
- However, not only negative entries are saved. As soon as you conclude a contract, this is also noted as a SCHUFA entry.

- 1. There is an open claim that has not been contradicted by either side.
- 2. The debtor has received two reminders four weeks apart and has not responded.

It is legally regulated how long your Schufa entries may remain. Nevertheless, it is advisable to check your entries regularly, as deletion is often too late. However, it always depends on what type of entry it is.

- As soon as you have repaid your loan in full, the entry will remain there for exactly three years.
