Black menu bar on Mac OS X
In Mac OS X you can set up a chic black menu bar. Read here how it works.
How to set a black menu bar on your Mac
- Open this link "Obsidian Menu Bar".
- Download the ZIP file. When you open the folder, start the "Install Obsidian Menu Bar.app" file.
- In order for the font in the black bar to be readable, you must start the "WhiteUIServer.menu" file. This changes the font color in the menu bar from black to white.
- Then open the system settings and then "Desktop & screensaver". Under the "Desk" tab you will find "Transparent menu bar" at the bottom. Take the hook out.
- Then restart your Mac.
Another practical tip reads how you can display the calendar week in the menu bar.
