Previously, you could only take screenshots in Firefox using add-ons or the Windows settings. In this practical tip, we will show you how you can now take a screen capture using your browser.
Take a screenshot directly in Firefox - how it works
There are two different ways to take a screenshot in your Firefox browser:
- Take a screenshot by right-clicking the page once and selecting "Take Screenshot" from the menu.
- Alternatively, click on "Actions for the page" in the address bar and then in the menu on "Take screenshot".
Alternatives for screenshots
If you don't want to take screenshots in Firefox, there are many alternatives:
- For example, use the Snipping Tool Plus to take screenshots.
- Press the Windows key and the print key on your keyboard at the same time to take a screen capture. For Windows 10 there are other ways to take a screenshot.
- Alternatively, use various add-ons for your Firefox browser such as Easy Screenshot, Awesome Screenshot or Screengrab.
