SharePoint: create list - how it works

SharePoint - how to make a list
- First of all, determine whether you also have permission to make changes to the page in SharePoint. You must at least be listed as a "designer" in the system.
- The settings are located on the upper right corner - identified by the gear wheel. Open this and click on "Add app".
- The most important templates are already prefabricated in the program. These include e.g. B. Applications for easy management of contacts, tasks or appointments (calendar). In the "Search" field you can find and apply a specific template.
- All list templates appear in the form of blue squares on the screen. Click on the desired object to select it.
SharePoint - Create custom lists
You can also create a list according to your own wishes. To do this, select the "Custom" template.
- After choosing Custom, you need to name the template. The list can then be called up again and again under this name.
- Now the created list appears in "Recently used". Click to continue.
- At the top left you will find the "List" tab. Double-click on it and then open the "List Settings" in the task bar on the right.
- In this dialog you can now switch and do whatever you like. Your list can be provided with all possible attributes that are hidden behind the blue sub-headings.
- Tip: Configure your list with the system so that it appears in the navigation field. The easiest way to do this is with "List name description and navigation".
