- Due to the supposedly provided service, you will be asked to transfer the amount of EUR 79.49 to an account in Belgium. With the "crooked" amount, the fraudsters probably want to add a touch of authenticity to their bill.
- However, the bill is a brazen scam, totally dubious and you should under no circumstances transfer the money.
Sharp Energie BVBA: Receive an invoice - what to do?
- Please contact the local police directly. These cases of fraud have recently become known primarily from Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. However, the spam mails will be sent nationwide.
- If you are unsure because you have recently had work done on your electricity meter, call the company you have asked and inquire. As a rule, reputable companies send their invoice by post anyway.
