Remove ShopDrop - Here's how

Remove the adware ShopDrop from the Windows PC
First, you should banish ShopDrop from your system:
- Open the Control Panel and click on "Uninstall a program".
- Here you can search for entries from ShopDrop and remove them by clicking on "Uninstall".
- The program AdwCleaner is recommended to completely banish the software from the system. Start the software as an administrator.
- You should then follow the instructions in the following paragraphs for all installed browsers.
Remove adware from Internet Explorer
If you have thrown the pest out of your system, you should still free your browser from it:
- In Internet Explorer, click on the gear and then on "Manage add-ons". A new window is opening up.
- Here click on "Toolbars and Extensions".
- Find the ShopDrop entry and remove it. You should then reset your browser settings.
Delete ShopDrop from Google Chrome
- You can access the add-on settings by clicking on the symbol with the three stripes in the upper right area of the browser.
- Once you have clicked on the symbol, move the mouse over "Tools" and then click on "Extensions".
- Search for the ShopDrop entry here and remove it. Then reset Google Chrome to the default settings.
Remove ShopDrop adware from Firefox
- In the upper left area you will find the Firefox button. Click on it. A new tab opens.
- Click on "Add-Ons" to go to the settings for extensions.
- Find ShopDrop entries and remove them. Finally, you should reset Firefox to the factory settings.
You should only use the AdwCleaner presented here to remove the malware. Other software can do additional damage to your system.
