To prevent malware from gaining access to your online banking, Kaspersky provides a particularly secure browser in the Internet security program package. This means that other tools or programs on the computer have no access or even influence.
Kaspersky: This is how secure online banking works
You can set up secure payment transactions with Kaspersky so that websites of banks and payment systems are automatically recognized. You can start the secure browser mode directly from the Kaspersky Internet Security interface. To adjust secure payment transactions, proceed as follows:
- First click on the "Settings" link in the lower part of the main window.
- Now select the "Protection Center" section in the left pane.
- Then, on the right side of the "Protection Center" section, navigate to the "Secure Payments" subsection.
- Now activate the "Secure payments" component using the button in the upper window area.
- Finally, activate the "Report operating system vulnerabilities" check box so that a notification of any vulnerabilities found in the operating system may be sent before the secure browser is started.
Warning: The secure browser cannot be started if the "Activate self-protection" checkbox in the "Advanced settings"> "Self-protection of the program configuration window" section is deactivated. In addition, "Secure Payment Transactions" in Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 is blocked if you have already configured your browser and checked the "Enable Enhanced Protected Mode" checkbox in the security settings.
