Error: "You are trying to save a file type that is blocked by your access protection settings in the security center"
The error "You are trying to save a file type that is blocked by your access protection settings in the security center" occurs because settings in the trust center have to be changed:
- In the program in which the error appears, click on "File".
- Then select "Options" in the left menu and in the new window in the left menu column "Trust Center".
- Then click on the button "Settings for the Trust Center" on the right side.
- Now a new window opens: Click on "Access protection settings" in the menu on the left.
- Now you have to remove the top ticks under "Open" and under "Save", up to the entry "Excel workbook 95" (see picture).
- When all the neck are removed, close the window with "OK".
Next we show what the Trust Center is for.
