SIM card with landline number - is that possible?
If you want to connect your landline number to your SIM card, this only works under certain conditions. We'll show you what to look out for.
Telekom, Vodafone, O2, E-Plus: SIM card with landline number
- All four German mobile operators offer their customers a so-called "home zone" depending on the tariff.
- This home zone can have a radius of a few kilometers around your place of residence or can also encompass the entire German network.
- Depending on the provider and the option, you can receive calls from your landline using your SIM card and also make calls using your landline number from your mobile phone.
- These tariffs are managed by the major mobile operators under "Vodafone at home", "O2 Homezone", " " or "E-Plus landline number".
SIMquadrat: SIM card with landline number
- The provider SIPgate takes a slightly different route with its SIM card SIM square. This is a prepaid tariff with an integrated landline number.
- Your SIM card is linked to a landline number from where you live. You can not only be reached on the landline number, but also send it out as the sender number. Call a contact and your landline number will be displayed.
- SIMquadrat's prices are similar to other prepaid tariffs. You usually pay 9 cents for calls and SMS, flat rates for phone calls or surfing can be booked on request.
